Paul Szatkowski – Selectman


Selectman Paul Szatkowski:

Paul and his wife, Diana, are 41 year residents of Bethel.  They are parents of three children, namely; Paul, Susan and Michelle.  Both Paul and Diana are members of St. Mary’s Parish.  Paul has an undergraduate degree from Ferris State University.  He is a retired executive from the biomedical industry in which he has management experience in the areas of global business development, product development and marketing.  Within the scientific community, Paul has been acknowledged as a “Fellow” by the American Institute of Chemists.  Serving as Selectman, Paul Szatkowski has been a Selectman for the past 12 years.  He previously served the Town as the Alternate Member of the Housatonic Resource Recovery Authority and Housatonic Valley Council of Elected Officials.  Paul was a member of the Permanent Building Committee, Chairman of the Ad-Hoc Bethel Middle School Building Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ad-Hoc Berry School Building Committee and Ad-Hoc High School Building Committee, and a member of a Charter Revision Commission.  Paul formerly served as Vice Chairman of the Bethel Republican Town Committee.
