Michael is a long-time resident of Bethel. He attended Bethel High School and graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a BS – Marine Engineering. He served in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator, Division Officer and Court Martial Officer. Duff retired from American Airlines with the position of Captain. Duff has served on the Assessment Board of Appeals, Elderly Tax Commission, Board of Education and the Police Commission.
